10 Jan Inferno Media Named Virgin’s Start Up of the Week

Mitchell offered insightful discussion about the challenges and successes the Bournemouth based business has experienced when he presented at the Virgin StartUp event in September 2016. Speaking in front of startup business owners and budding entrepreneurs, Mitchell discussed how the £20,000 funding he received from Virgin StartUp helped kickstart his career.
It wasn’t long ago that Mitchell was an audience member attending a Virgin StartUp event; introducing himself as a 19-year-old who dropped out of school and decided conventional education wasn’t for him. He also spoke about one of the big influences in his life, Richard Branson, who also expressed his desire to become an entrepreneur at a young age.
The theme of the talk was “how to earn your first 1,000 customers” when starting up a new business venture. Mitchell spoke about his approach and also divulged some top industry secrets, from how to improve productivity with various online software and to how to create awesome social media content that engages the right audience, at the right time.
Mitchell took the opportunity to demonstrate some of the work that Inferno Media has offered to past and existing clients. Following the presentation, Mitchell had certainly encouraged a number of entrepreneurs to kickstart their social media efforts. A number of industry-specific questions were happily answered to help other entrepreneurs kickstart their social media campaigns.
Others questions were directed to Mitchell about the general obstacles he experienced and the journey that the business has taken. Mitchell’s explained the timeline of the business, which began when he grew a Twitter account to 150,000 followers at 17 years old.
His journey certainly provided great insight and inspiration to all those that attended and everyone here at Inferno would like to congratulate Mitchell on being awarded by Virgin as the StartUp of the week.
